mobile phones in bansko

does anyone know if their UK mobiles work in bulgaria? I'm on o2 and haven't had any problems anywhere else, but just wanted to check. heading to bansko on the 6th march, counting the days already...

As long as your network supplier has freed up your phone for international use, it will work fine.

After you land it will pick up probably M-TEL and you can then use it. Beware of all incoming call from back home as they are usually charged to your phone.

Yes Vodaphone works in Bulgaria but beware it is very expensive!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We copped for a £250 phone bill when we returned although the calls were neccessary due to an accident but remember if your insurnace company offers to call you back then you are still charged!!!!!!!!!
