spent new year in borovets,used the mobile a few times and received a couple of calls,texted maybe20-25 times,got my bill today and somewhere vodafone have stung me nearly £35 extra than my normal bill,,,,oh well i will know next year,,,,YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED

Did you realise you pay for ALL incoming calls and texts whilst over there? And at a very high rate.PP

That thing in front of the passenger in your car is called a glovebox.INSTRUCTIONS.........
Press button and glovebox willl open.
Turn off phone, and insert phone into glovebox.
Close glovebox.
You will find this works well, and does not incur any charges whilst abroad.

Buy a local sim card, pay only local rates while over there.I dont think you pay for incoming texts though.

Where would I get a local Sim card in Bansko ? Both our phones are sim free. Over Xmas it cost me over £100 for the 2 phones 50 - 50 nagging missus trying to get me out of the pub and 50 % incoming calls wishing me a merry Xmas.Bastards !
