This is first time to Bulgaria, Is it best to take Euros or Levsre: money in bororvets
Take English £s and change in resort. Better rates
You could change a tenner or so before you go in order to have some if you tip the bus driver or hotel porter but you'll def get a higher rate in resort. If you have a Nationwide Flex account you could withdraw from atms at a better rate with no charges too.

Do you have any recomendations on where to change it in the resort - just to save us wandering around finding the best exchange rate (especially if you have already been).

Take £ sterling and change there- have a good time, im sure you will!

Take sterling change it there. Ensure you get the price stated outside the office. "If I give you £100 how many levs will I get" then deal or no deal. Ask first then trade.No commission should be charged if the sign says so. Do not bring Scottish or NI sterling as they offer a lower exchange rate for these notes.I.E I saw a board with GBP 1 = 2 lev
NI £ = 1.75Lev
Scot £ = 1.75 Lev
