money money money...

Just tried searching but it is useless and takes just as long to sift through search results as it does the forum.

I am off to pamps on the 8th Feb (CANT WAIT) until the 13th Feb Im 20 and enjoy drinking partying, etc etc and was just wondering if 200-300 £'s will be enough for the above AND the cost of hire & passes.

Also i was also wondering is it best to take Levs ,GBP, $ or Euro? as far as i could see Levs seems to be the best bet. And 1 more thing, Is it best to take currency out ...

re: money money money...

Going by previous postings re: cost of lift passes and equipment hire in the resort being near double the tour operator rate you might just be pushing it a bit...No expert though.

We usually take out cash in sterling and change in the resort, but again, going by previous posts, the rates available here seem to be much of a muchness.

re: money money money...

200 to 300 hundred would be well enough for your food and partying but if you want ski hire and lift passes as well to be on the safe side I would take 500 or if you have a visa or mastro you can draw money out of the ATM, better bringing it back than not having enough. take some leves for the first day as you usually get to the slopes before you can get money changed after that as above either stirling or euros but make sure notes are new with no writing on.

re: money money money...

Yup as Sam say's £200 -£300 will not cover your drinking and eating and lift pass and ski hire. You need more.

re: money money money...

Okay, but you'll still be paying a lot for your pass and equipment, going by last years prices (on skidvd) lift pass will be in the region of £50 for 3 days, equipment about the same. And, I misread earlier, you're there for 5 days, so you should be able to do it, only just though! Smile
