money money money

Were about to buy our LEV for Borovets, but before we do just wanted to check with you guys what is the best thing to do for spending money. Is it best to take some LEV and sterling, or all LEV, or all sterling, or forget the notes and just take plastic - debit/credit?
thanks in advance

Take levs and sterling, that way on your last day you can just change the amount you need. Saves you losing out when you get home if you have to change money back, you always lose out doing this.

disagree eltel.

Take sterling , then you can change what you need, rather than the double commission of changing and then back to sterling.

Every year i go i always take sterling, with a few lev from left over from the year before.

Even if you arrive late you can change at the hotel reception.

In regards of rates, theres only a few pennies difference altogether

Some people seemed to have a bit of difficulty with the machine beside the gondola, however the other machines worked ok.

If you have a cirrus or maestro on the back of the card , you should be ok. Worse case scenario, you can use your credit card and passport at bureaus, however you will be charged as a cash advance on the credit card. Ordinary bank card in machine is cheaper
