hey is anyone off to the black sea resorts this summer? im going to golden sands at the end of july! anyone been there before? ive been bitten by the bulgaria bug! went to borovets last month snowboarding and now id like to experience it in the summer!re: more and more holidays woohoo
We've also been bitten by the Bulgaria bug we went to Pamps last month and have changed our summer holiday from corfu to golden sands, can't wait!!!re: more and more holidays woohoo
Why would anyone in the right mind want to go to corfu???I accept corfu is a beautiful island- but not around the tourist resoorts of Kavos etc...... boozed up britain culture etc......." i know i will travel 2000 miles to have a big mac and watch sky sports"-madness

i agree who would want to go to corfu! to be perfectly honest im attracted to places where you only find minimum amounts of the british! why go on holiday and spend it around people who live next door! (unless u really like ur nextdoor neighbours) i also think that the people the british people you find in the more interesting places are loadsa fun!

I don't really think there are 'minimum amounts of the British' in Bulgaria, we met a lot of people when we were there and they were all either British or Bulgarian!!!!!!!
Also our ski instructor works in a bar in Sunny Beach in the summer and told us he couldn't understand why the British want to drink so much - maybe this is what makes them 'loadsa fun'.
Just because there may be macdonalds and sky sports in some of the places abroad it doesn't mean that these are the places you ...

yeh i agree! i'd rather go where there aren't macdonalds you cant experience a different culture through the way that macdonalds is cooked! what i mean by the people being 'loadsa fun' is that they tend to be more open minded than people who refuse to go anywhere but spain and france! im not trying to be judgemental or insult anyone! they are just open thoughts! also its alot cheaper not drinking all your money away on a holiday!
