re: mussala peak

It is actually possible to traverse across the avalanche slope at the top of the Markudjik pistes to the bowl beneath Mussala, the location of the famed hut..
From there are numerous off-piste options including the top of the Mussala pathway...
I would suggest a guide as the access can be difficult if you come in to low, and a cliff jump if your to high Wink
I will be over there on Wednesday to have a look Cool

re: mussala peak

If you want to walk at in one day, sorry no chance. You have to take the gondola or need a stay for the night. In summer you can have it as a one day trip.

But you can hzave a day out to the hut, I'm at Samokov from the 4. to the 10. march and will walk this way this year too, as mnay ohter years.

Contact me if you will join with me.

re: mussala peak

weve done it many times, but weve always riden a basher to the top. You can if your feeling flush get a skidoo to give you a lift, but i would never never recommend it without a guide!!!!!!
