we are going in march to borovets, hotel yanakiev. Anyone here on this forum, who went there as well, and who wants to tell me their experiences?? thx

Hi, we stayed there a few weeks ago...
Nice hotel right on the ski run, only a few mins walk from all the action, friendly staff, nice and quiet, we only met a couple of english everyone else was bulgarian.
Good sized spotless room with balcony, big bathroom plenty of hot water, had to turn the heating off as our room was too hot for us. Breakfast was good, but evening meal was not so good, lukewarm and not much choice. The soups we very good and hot, but with no microwave to heat ...

The food is still the same as it was 5 years ago when we were in borovets last, but its their way.
Good ski service in house, ski wax for two pairs of skis 10 Lev, nice guy that works in there too.
Overall we enjoyed our stay there and would go back there.
