new snow

To all skiers in Bulgaria: don't worry, if it isn't snowing at the moment, it soon will be.I'm from Macedonia (for those who doesn't know that's a country west from Bulgaria) and we have some great snow showers here.

we have just left Borovets and on friday night there was about 4-5 inches of snow fall over night with more on the way, conditions at the top were good all week but the lower piste was very poor with ice and rocks on them.

Don't worry, from what I see here you'll have a snow because it statred snowing during last night here and it already has 10 cm new snow and Bansko from were I live is 7-8 hours away by car.

do you go skiing in macedonian Daniela, if so how do you think it compares to bulgaria?

Yes, I do ski in Macedonia, mostly on Popova Sapka, that's the nearest ski resort to Tetovo (the town where I live) it's only 30 min driving.There are other ski resorts in Macedonia like Mavrovo and Krushevo but the snow cover is always bigest on Sapka.Unfortunately our resorts can't compare with the ones in Bulgaria.Their ski resorts are much more advanced than ours.
