Sounds ideal for you. What else but to take the learn to board option.

You will soon get the hang of it and Bulgarian instructors are amongst the best in Europe.

Borovets is small so all the nightlife will be at your doorstep.

Just do it Razz

Hi, I have booked at Iglika Palace from 12th Jan because reviews and location looked good. I stayed at Lion last year which was nice but further out. As a first time skier last year, the lessons in Borovets were good (and great value for the whole day) but it's a bit luck of the draw how well matched the group is. There are quite a few button lifts which look quite hard for boarders ! Some bits of Borovets are a bit scruffy but generally a lot of fun for a cheap price. Don't worry too much ...

Don't worry too much about food in hotel as there are loads of nice choices in town. Phil.

I went to Borovets last Christmas and had lessons from a guy called Freaky who is based in the Hotel Flora. He was a fantastic instructor, he took a bit of getting used to as he says things as he sees them. If you are doing something wrong (I did a lot of things wrong) he WILL tell you and show you how to do it properly. If he could put up with me and teach me he could teach anyone. When he teaches for 2 hours he does 2 hours. We usually had a break half way through fo about 15mins but he ...

When he teaches for 2 hours he does 2 hours. We usually had a break half way through fo about 15mins but he didn't include that time in the lesson which was great. If you want to use him book him personally as it will be cheaper for you and he gets more money not going through the hotel. It will also benefit you because it will not be a big group and suited personally to you. His favourite hang out is Franko's which is quite nice and we had some interesting conversatons with him.
