newbies

We are 10 guys, ages ranging from mid-20's to mid-40's, who decided we needed to 'tick-off' snowboarding on the list of things to do before you die!!. We are therefore travelling to borovets on the 20th for our first boarding trip.

Forgetting the potential lack of snow, what are your tips for what to bring, what to do, what not to do etc.

Take deep heat or ibruprofen gel. and a hip flask of something nice in case you are caught waiting.

re: newbies

Nice to know that there's another big group of newbies out there at the same time - I'm in a group of 21 from Brighton with nearly half of us complete ski beginners. Some of our group will be boarding though so watch out for people in red fleece hats with 'Snowbiz' on them. Alternatively, watch out for the hammered girlies in any bars near to the Hotel Rila!
