It was 15 lev ish 2 years ago from 5 to around 9pm. One thing though as it gets later you notice the temperature drop and the slopes start to get icier.
We stayed in the Rila so I don;t know about the ski thing but they were OK with us keeping the ski's. I imagine it would be the same.
apart from sunday night the depot at the samkov stays open till about 9pm, if youre later than that just hang on to them till the next day.
The night skiing is well worth it, but as said before it can get bitter, so more clothes than during the day!! plus youll also find the slopes less congested.
The Samokov stays open til 8.30pm and they will try and get you to buy a lift pass from there - don't bother - more expensive, just pay at the cash desk next to the chair lift. 13 lev. Very quiet on the slopes at night and bitterly cold, but well worth it
looking at the weather forecast for next week i wont need to worry about being cold lol
what would happen if i didnt get back to the depot by 8:30 at the samokov? would i have be allowed to take the skis and boots to my room? also i would lose my shoes
Yes you will lose your shoes untill the next day unless youe just dont give them your shoes and keep them in a bag?? They wont be bothered about not taking your skis back, i did it this year but just make sure you give them back by the end of the week!! You will be allowed to take skis and boots back to your room but sometimes they get a bbit funny about you actually wearing your boots in the hotel.
we stayed at samokov, and the lift gose down to -1 which is where the ski loan depo is , so keeping out the way of reception is easy as they do tell you to take your boots off !!!!!!!! i used to go down in socks pick my stuff up and go..........and if you come in the loan door when you come back again you can get the lift from there........the timing of the loan depo closing varys to how they feel i think it was different every day we were there!!!!!!!!!!
