night skiing

what does night skiing involve? is it exactly as it's name suggests; skiing at night or is there something else about it? going to boro next weekend and one of my party has been to lake tahoe, where night skiing involved kickers, rails etc and there was music too. can i expect this?

re: night skiing

last year the night skiing consisted of just that ,skiing at night .i dont remember any music ( ipod will sort that) and i believe the locals will borrow you a shovel to make your own kickers but it might get bashed the next day, i also dint see any rails last year but they may have put some up through the summer, also goin out next week, enjoy yourself and good luck.

WOT WILL I NEED, LAYERS WISE, WHILE SKIING?

Hi. If anyone could answer this i would be very grateful. Im going to borovets on Saturday (14th Jan) skiing, iv purchased plenty of layers (maybe too many!?) but i just wanted to know from someone who's been before, this time of yr, wot will i probably be needing to wear on a day 2 day basis on the slopes? for warmth. Thanks folks!

re: night skiing

depends how good you are with the cold as i wear less layers than my other half

but the usual seems to be tshirt or thermal top with long sleeve top then sweater then maybe body warmer and ur jacket with hat and gloves and maybe neckwarmer
