those of u who go to Boverets, BEWARE, of the kids, nite sledging.Special the ones on those metal for hire sledges. i saw many an kid and adult taken out by them , one serious and many v close shaves.
U BIN WARNED.im just back on the 15th jan any questions just post on here. We stayed at the Rila.

Hi Steve, we were at the Rila last week too and we agree with you it was deadly at nite, our children went sledging on the plastic trays and we were lucky no accidents happened, we made sure they checked no skiers were coming down the slope before sledging or that anyone was in the way unfortunately others were not so safety concious but both my husband and myself commented that the skiers and sledgers should have had separate areas, there is no safety on the slopes and it is only a matter ...

Hi there, queue's are'nt to bad, if you want to use the gondola it starts to get a long queue from 9.30 onwards so get there for about 9.15. Watch the Bulgarians they love to push in!! Did'nt eat out in the evenings we ate in the hotel so can't help you there. The runs we were using our instructor took us on we were beginners so were guided by him but the top of the Yastrebets was amazing so was the green run on Sitnyakovska skala ( you will find it on your lift pass).re: nite sledging
Hi sos didnt party much outa the Rila, had my 7 yrs old with me so it was difficult. the Rila nite club was ok, had a bb sitter and ended up stripping off the last nite.(i was drunk honest.)

also, the maps on the passes were outa date. i found the best runs, were to be found at top of the gondala and take it from up there.The q,s there were about 45 mins long at the gondala, but we had to wait 4 our instructor. if u get there earlier im sure the q,s wud be better.
