no snow

What would actually happen if there ended up being no snow when i go ( 23 december) ??

Some great restaurants, cheap bars nice company with lots of other people in same situation as you

on a serious note, there is no reason you wont be able to ski, there is a good enough base for the snow cannons to work and the pistes will be fine, it may be that offpiste and some areas may be limited. It is snowing this week anyway, not lots but enough to settle

in stead of being at the top of a hill stood on snow you will be stood on grass

Sorry but you can forget any assistance from snow cannons in Borovets and Pamporovo as there are so few they would make no difference whatsoever.

and Bansko? will snow cannons make a difference there?

There are lots more cannons in Bansko and yes they will have some effect, but they are really there to top up the snow rather than create a pieste. A good base is needed for them to have any lasting effect.
