just a quick question , does anyone know if they exchange northern irish notes without problems in pamps,

No Newguy, you're best not trying, it would only frustrate you!!! Just go with Bank of England notes and you shouldn't have any probs. How r the BG's to know we have 6 different banks issuing notes here???

They will not take them in the bank at Bansko so i doubt it

They definitely DO NOT take them, and they will only take Bank of England notes if there are no marks, rips or writing on them.

If you go into the Bank and ask for new English notes they usually keep a stock.

You are all wrong ! Im from Northern Ireland and i and other members of our group have used them on the odd accassion over the years. They will accept them however they offer a terrible rate.

However if you have a few thousand laid around from the Northern Bank job, then thats a completely different matter, exchange rate flucuations wont annoy you Wink

Bank of england notes is the better option. Due to the strenghtening Euro against the Pound i wouldnt take euros simply as you will be ...

Good advice about Euros, however if you have any left over from previous trips then you may as well take them with you
