You are all wrong ! Im from Northern Ireland and i and other members of our group have used them on the odd accassion over the years. They will accept them however they offer a terrible rate.
However if you have a few thousand laid around from the Northern Bank job, then thats a completely different matter, exchange rate flucuations wont annoy you
