off piest

does anyone know of off piest/out of bounds shenanagins in borovets/bansko/vitosha/7lakes area? iv heard rumours of piestuers taking groups beyond the resorts

Yes, there is a variety of off-piste. I have only skied off-piste in Bansko but i'm sure that other resorts will also offer some off-piste. Best to speak with local instructors/guides for advice.

there is some off piste skiing in Borovets. I haven't done it, bit of a novice here, but I did get to talk to some advanced skiers that had spent the day off piste.

Loadsa off piste in and around Borovets. personally i stay within the confines of the lift system for ease.

There are some great areas from the top of the mounatin down towards Beli iskar but you can end up in the middle of nowhere requiring some walking and a cab.

Depends what you want really.

good off piste at top o mountain work your way over to third button pull ( if running - they sometimes do not man this untill week end when the locals arrive as they will not put up with it being closed i had complaind before but suddenly no one can speak english !!!!!!!!!! ) any way if it is manned it is great
