off piste

Is there any good off piste / advanced skiing in Borovets?
I'm going next week with my girlfriend who is a beginner and will need instruction for part of the day; and for that part I want to find some off piste to keep myself occupied.

re: off piste

Up the Gondola there are red and black runs furthest away from the gondola were the quietest and the best snow - the runs in front and above the Rila were full of learners. If its clear and not windy get up to the top of the gondola asap - as we didn't and later in the week the wind shut the top half of the gondola - runs only open from mid-station and down.
