opinions on a sportube?

I've sent my k2 bag back and have ordered a sportube instead... I figured it's probably made from the same material as my Violin case whish can protect fully the violin if it's accidentally dropped down a flight of stairs...

Other than that it's adjustable and according to their website they have made them wider to suit modern day bindings.

Just wondered if anyone has one and what they think of them?

Rach Very Happy

i have a sports tube and it is quite fiddly to get your skis in, you have to face them binding to binding and strap the brake arms down, only takes a few minutes providing you have good straps (not supplied) other than that they are pretty good and well worth the moneySmile

Many thanks Joe,

Can you advise what to use to hold the brakes in place?

I think it has been delivered today but i'm at work so can't test it out yet.

Are you able to wrap something around your bindings for protection?

Cheers

Rach

re: opinions on a sportube?

Rach You should be able to get some from places like Millets, the ones i use are like the small waist straps that you find on ruck sacks, failing that long cable tie,s from you local B&Q will do just as well
