ordering snow?

Hiya,
I have noticed some people on here have mentioned tat they ordered snow for their skiing holidays.
Could someone please let me know where to order it from, can I order it online and how much is it?
Do we order by the flake, by cms thick or by the square metre?
Do we need to order it by resort or just by the runs we want it to be on?
Are there any sales on in snow at the moment or any buy one get one free deals or anything?
Does anyone know any cut price sites that ...

I would really like more information on this as I am really worried I might not be able to get hold of any before we go, any help would be appreciated,

I always order it from the snow shop at the end of our road.
I ask politely each year and just say "do you get my drift?"
They never fail to deliver
