orphey hotel,lift queues,boards in bansko."someone please answer me"

hi guys
there are 5 of us going to bansko on the 4 march staying at the hotel orphey.has anyone stayed there!.
also does anyone have an idea if the rumours are true about the long queues that are at the gondola station in the mornings.any tips to avoid them,without getting there at first light.
also one of the fellas is after a new board,are there any good deals out there and could you recommend a shop.

to avoid some of the queue for the gondola go to the door to the right of the main door and join the queue at the bottom of the stairs.
