Don't they usually close the 3 man lift for maintenance on Thursday mornings? Think last year it was closed between 10.00-14.00 or something one day a week and I recall it may have been Thursday.
We were there end of Feb and never had to queue more than a couple of mins at most.

Have just returned from Pamporovo today. The busiest queues were on Sunday and Monday and were for the lift passes not the lifts. The three man chair lift is serviced on Tuesday afternoon so that's not the cause of the queue. Snow is absolutley fantastic at the momemnt though!!!!! Can't wait to go back in February!!!!

Yes out there this week long queues on all lifts as very busy due to new year, however they go down fast, i was told not many people are arriving this week though.

The cause of the queue you saw was the 3 man lift breaking down and being stuck for nearly 2 hours !!!

oh yes, also the single man broke down for one hour i believe
