overrated skiing

To all who are thinking about going to bulgaria for a 'cheap' skiing holiday-think again-long and hard!! Its very over rated, and you would be alot better off finding a more expensive resort in western europe.
hope this was not to harsh, but the truth has to be told!!

Sorry can't agree. Bansko this year was absolutely brilliant and I can't wait to go back. Have skied in alpine resorts and North America and although I will say Banff was the greatest I would rate Bansko as the second best ski holiday we have ever had at any price.

sorry been to other places in europe and further and boro is only place i happily keep going back to
other places had the slopes and can be good but a holiday is what you make it but in boro its always been great no matter what

Also Neil why pick a Bulgarian site to put it down. It will be obvious that the people who go on this board really like skiing in Bulgaria. Also not everyone is in a position to pay for expensive holidays. The traditional ski resorts in Europe are out pricing themselves in my opinion.

But them who am I to say.

We went out this year to Boverets, Ski Holidays are not all about the skiing they are about the people, and the instructors, and local people wher fantastic. My Girl Friend has MS and was struggling in ski School, our ski instructor found some one to provide one on one instruction for about £5 per hour. You wont match that any where in France.

If you realy want to have a great holiday with great people then go to Bulgaria
