Hi are there any regular visiors to Pamporova out there, that can give me some handy tips or advice about the resort or night life. Have booked to go in JAN

Loads of nightlife lippy.

BJ's nightclub in Perelik
White Hart (between Perelik and Morgavets)
Daks bar behind Perelik (lots of locals and instructors)

These are probably the liveliest and best, but there are loads more.

Head for the Perelik in the evening as most of the nightlife is just a stroll from there, and pretty much all is reached without needing to go outside.

Pamparovo is great been loads of times, 7 of us (mixed group) going out there on 17th and stopping at hotel pamp.
Nightlife wakens up a bit later in the night, might be bit quiet early on at that time of year, but we always manage to entertain ourselves.

Thanks for the info,
I went to Borovets about 5yrs ago before the girlfriend stopped all my fun. However my friend and I have had our passes stamped and she has allowed me of my lead, so were like two teenagers going on our first holiday.

How about currency, Should we just take stirling and change it there, Whats your opinion on travelers cheques ?

Personally I take cash and use the cash machine in the Perelik if I need a top up - dead convenient.
You can take TC's and change them in the hotel if your that way inclined though.
Notes still have to be clean - not written on at all and not torn.
White Hart, Bj's and Spiders were the best bars last year but I hear things might have changed.
