I have been to Borovets a few times and am going back in Jan as it's great fun. I reckon a day trip to Bansko would be good however, just to try it out. I've never seen this advertised as an excursion which is a shame (unless the distance is just too great).

Hi Phil,

Have sent you an email, but Hunters are doing 1 day Bansko trip this season - to my knowledge they are the only ski school doing it.

Bansko or Borovets will keep you busy but the equipment & set up is better in Bansko & the old town is lovely where as Boro is a bit in your face in some places.

I've been told the same. Anyone know what the days ski pass in Bansko would cost ?
There are only 3 of us so I'm hoping they would put a group together.

Day pass is 50lv +5lv deposit for card...
We have put Gerry from Hunters in touch with a good bar here to provide the same service that Ari and Aimee do for us...
Hopefully Hunters will get it all set up by the season, and we will be waving to each other passing on the road...
