After a 1 1/2 hr delay got here at 4am, minus 1 suitcase. It was loaded onto the coach from the airport however somebody thought they would take it for a trip into their hotel before we could have it, this was sorted out. bed at 5am.
Up at 7.30 breakfast and off to the slopes.
Slopes in the morning were getting low and patchy in places, especially on green 6 near ski depot 1 it was turning brown and slush.
6 man chair closed due to wind

then at 1pm it started to RAIN and I mean rain, not a drizzle but a downpour and is still comimg down as rain 3 1/2 hrs later, if it keeps this up there wont be much left.
Would drown my sorrows if I drunk, lets hope the tmps drop tonight and the rain turns to snow.
Will post tomorrow.....any questions I will answer if I can

Hi GaryOh no, what a shocker. Just had a look at webcam - looks a bit damp!
Keep us posted on if it changes to snow... fingers crossed for you.

Just gone to buy a snorkle and flippers, and it stopped raining so thats a plus, the wind is back though.

Just been out to the supermarket, its like a wet thursday in Manchester, its chucking it down and the locals say it has been for the past two hours and going to continue until the early hours, they also say its falling as rain on the mountain and will not be cold enough to get any cannons on until at least thursday.Will update in the morning..

nightmare!just looked at webcam and it looks a bit 'snowy'.......guess it's rain though.
