pamporovo in march??

pamporovo in march??

hey folks.. thinking of going on a snowboarding holiday to bulgaria on the 24th march for a week. I realy liked the look of pamporovo as it looked as if it suited beginners..my only reservations is wheather there will be good snow cover at this time of year.. where would people recommend.? Confused

Dave at that time of year you are pushing your luck with Pamporovo. It is great for beginners but I would not book it rather wait and get a last minute the week before if the snow is good. You would be better of looking at Borovets or Bansko both are higher and more snow sure.

cheers for advice daniel.. i was thinking the exact same.. will try the other 2 resorts or try and re arrange dates.. never been to bulgaria before, but heard nothing but good things about it! Very Happy

Last March was great conditions, and historically its been that way, however with the current lapse of snow Europe wide its hard to predict what will happen. I have booked for March knowing even if there is limited skiing, a good time will be assured.
