If you promise to buy one at the end of the week, then only promise it to one of them, because they will remember you, pay about 5 lev for a small bell, watch out for the one who looks like saddam Hussein, i bought 3 off him for 18 lev but when i got my wallet out, he saw the ten pound notes in there and wanted £30 for the bells and his command of the english language greatly improved. at the end of the day they are only trying to make a living but will rip you off if they can. Brian.
best to buy one on the very first day - they have great memories and leave you alone after that - other than a nice and smile and a cheery good morning - they are actually really nice guys one helped my friend on the first day when she was having problems with her ski's
We bought off of diesel on the first day nick name everyone gives him because he wears a diesel hat then if anyone else asks just say you got one off him and he nods his head and you can walk away. they are all realy nice and will usually let you know where your group has gone eg home on the bus or to one of the bars. they have a fab memory considering the amount of people they see. be nice to them and they are realy nice back. be firm with how much you want to pay.
