following many threads on pamps hotel over the new year regarding overbooking. this hotel has excellant factilities the pool, spa, bars, bowling, common rooms etc.
my understanding of the Victoria Group who own these chains are unable to cope at peak times of the season, Victoria Palace in Suuny beach has the same problems in August and the staff do not have the appropriate skill and training to deal. To any brits going out to this hotel, pamps is a great ski resort, hotel has good factilities, if the hotel group does not deliver what you have paid for, stand your ground with you tour agent, group together with other brits to get sorted out
When they claim to be a 5 star and take the money accordingly its up to us to make sure they deliver the goods, too often us brits keep quite and only moan when we get home, if these hotel groups want our money - they have to workl for it.
