well pete having seen the rain forecast for tues i can only hope that your uncanny luck holds firm for the snow conditions when you are due to go as i am due to join up the second week of your holiday.100cm of fresh powder would be great or am i being greedy.

Well Steve, we have been going for 13 years to Pamporovo now, and we have never not skied. A couple of years ago it was possible to ski in November and it lasted almost into May.
We always go weeks 5 and 6 and I remember about 8 years ago we arrived with hardly any snow. We went into BJ's bar and met 2 lads who were there on their last night.

Well Steve, we have been going for 13 years to Pamporovo now, and we have never not skied. A couple of years ago it was possible to ski in November and it lasted almost into May.
We always go weeks 5 and 6 and I remember about 8 years ago we arrived with hardly any snow. We went into BJ's bar and met 2 lads who were there on their last night.
They had had an awful week, and had only been able to ski for 1 day. They we're feeling really sorry for themselves, but it got even worse. At about 11pm Craig, (the DJ) announced BOYS AND GIRLS IT'S SNOWING!!!!!!!!!! Almost everyone rushed outside and it was hammering down. When we went back inside I saw the 2 lads, absolutely distraught, and one was actually crying, they were devistated.
That night they left by bus at about 1am amid a blizzard of snow.
When we woke the next day the snow had stopped and the conditions were fantastic.
I never ever saw those lads again, but I felt so sorry for them.
So the snow Gods seem to like me and Angie, and lets hope this season is no exception.
But I really wish those lads had seen Pamporovo as so many of us know it........... THE BEST PLACE ON EARTH

I hope that you are right again this time Pete. Its our second time this year. Last year it was fantastic so fingers crossed for this year. Will be there 23 Jan.CU
