Has anyone got an update for pamps? hearing that only one run is open which is the green and it is icy and rocky. Also is it true that they have opened the top? ive seen people come off the lifts. And last of all, ive heard they are expecting a dump of snow on the 1st in pamps but it doesnt show on snow-forecast. heres the link:http://www.snow-forecast.com/resorts/Pamporovo/6day/top

I like most on here flick the PC on 1st thing in the morning and look at every snow condition website there is - i then look again every hour i am near a PC hoping to see the big dump coming!!!
Truth is - i have been in pamps since the 20th of December and no website has called it right on any day so far!!
It is snowing again this morning!!! Light flakes rather than big stuff but fairly heavy - and people have been sking top to bottom since Boxing Day. Yes it is patchy in places but ...

I like most on here flick the PC on 1st thing in the morning and look at every snow condition website there is - i then look again every hour i am near a PC hoping to see the big dump coming!!!
Truth is - i have been in pamps since the 20th of December and no website has called it right on any day so far!!
It is snowing again this morning!!! Light flakes rather than big stuff but fairly heavy - and people have been sking top to bottom since Boxing Day. Yes it is patchy in places but if we continue to get the kind of weather we have had this last week everything will be good through Jan & Feb - i have no doubts!!
Xmas week has always been a risk in Pamps - if people did their own research they would know this - the real season has always been Jan - March and will never really change - it has been so for many many years!!
Keep the faith and enjoy the season - now which snow forecast have i not looked at yet today??????

Thanks Phil - nice to hear what its like from somone who is ACTUALLY there rather than hear say.I'm still hopeful for when I'm due to go on 18.1.09 & like you say we've gone to Pamps for last 4 years & I can remember it always being like this, even the 1st year which when we got there in Feb there was a huge amount of snow to be had, talking feet high rather than a few cm's.

NP Miss H - just want people to calm down on here!!!There will be plenty of snow by the time you get here - keep the faith - we are out again the week after and have been for 3 years runing now around that time - the place has never let us down yet!
The big stuff is coming - i'll put money on it!
