pamps vs borovets

this year we went to borovets for our first snowboarding holiday. We had a good time and our only complaint was the food but i think thats just bulgaria!
were now looking at booking for next year but the prices seem to favour pamps.

does anyone know how pamps compaires to borovets in runs and facilitys?

were looking at the hotel Perelik if anyones got any comments

re: pamps vs borovets

perelik is really central first stop for the ski bus and most of the bars and nightlife are around this hotel. cant comment on borovet as never been, pamps has linmited slopes, but for a second trip should be fine. The mountain is lower than the other two resort, so can suffer at the begining and the end of the season from limited of snow.

Bansko would be a better option.

re: pamps vs borovets

Pamps has less runs than Boro. Perelik is a good hotel slpa bang in resort centre and linked to a neighbouring hotel by a coverd walkway so no need to go outside on the way to some bars? restaurants.
As for the food if you can eat out and not at the hotel the food is always better.

Personally i think you will be pleasantly surprised, i am a good skier if i do say so myself and have been to pamps the last 2 years, probably the worst two years for snow the whole of europe has had for a long time and both occasions i had a fantastic time, on piste and off, you could if you are a ski nut say the skiing is limited but pamporovo makes up for this in many other ways the main one is atnosphere you just cant beat it.
