anyone know wot pamparova ia like to buy ive saeen a ground floor one dbedroom apartment in ceder heights complex is it any good appreciate any info on area as never been there usually go to borovets

Hi RusselCeder Heights is down the road from us and has been finished for 6 odd years now but to my knowledge has never bee open as it never cleared act 16.
It looks fantastic and we nearly bought off plan when it was being built but lots of people lost on it as the company went bust.
Others might be able to update on its situation who're owners on here but its still in darkness at the moment.
Be careful - but if another company has taken over it looks a great complex!

Hi Russell - echo what PSP says - you might get a bargain but check the owner actually has the deeds. They have been fighting for Act 16 for some time now and without Act 16 it cannot legally be used or rented out (Act 16 is the habitation act)
If you really want to buy an apartmendt in Pamporovo you would be better to go for an apartment that has act 16 already granted and is in an established complex - there were too many sold off plan where the developers went bust leaving investors ...

The same advice applies for Bansko though. Do the research before you buy.

Russell,I can't understand why you say you will now go to Bansko instead of buying in Pamporovo. Cedar Heights is not the only complex in Pamporovo in which to buy an apartment.
There are several completed complexes which hold Act 16 - all of which are ski-in, ski-out and as SW says you could have similar problems in Bansko.

Hey RussellAgree with the guys above - Do plenty of research before anything! If the price looks to good to be true there is normally a catch!
Sticking to Bansko will be just the same - There is good and bad investment everywhere. Think about the type of resort you want too - Pamps and Bansko are very different!! Know what you want out of the place 1st and then look for somewhere later.
