re: passport problem

I would recomend that you contact the Romanian Embassy Normally three months but some countrys have the 6 month rule.

We are calling the Bulgarian Embassy today at 1300 (when it opens) so will keep you posted.

Weather here dry no snow but we are in Hertfordshire.

have a good one

re: passport problem

As Bulgaria is now part of the EU, the 3 or 6 month validity rule is, technically not legal under EU law, but might be best to check with the Bulgarian embassy just the same.

re: passport problem

We spoke to Consulate (Bulgaria) and a lady rather frosily told us that the 3 month rule applied.

My Wife rang again spoke to a male who said no problem and has sent us a covering letter and his title was the head of the Consulate. RESULT get in there.

Very pleased that red tape was cut. He had been a ski instructor at Borovets, He also said that the snow was perfect today powdery.
Hope you get a result, but do insist on a reply in writing.

re: passport problem

Well done!! I think that if you had no written consent they may have stuck by the 3 month rule on arrival here so really glad you got it sorted.... Smile

Have fun when you get here!
