My passport runs out 2nd March
Will I still be able to use it for Bulgaria in Feb

No you need 6 months validation on your passport on your return to the UK

You had better get a move on TOMORROW!!!!!!

If it does not have at least 6 months from your return date you will not get out of the UK.

I phoned the bulgarian embassy last year with same delema they told me it was 3 months but I would check again if I were u

Take heed of what Alison says but British officials do advise and recommend 6 months

Better safe than sorry. Even if it is 3 months you still need to get a re-issue

I sent off my sons passport for renewal on New Years Eve and got the new one
back on 5th January, really quick, so apply now for a new one, its worth paying the extra £4 at the post office for their checking service, its really quick!

Yeah I agree with Fred, my mate had the same dilema, passport returned within a week or so, pay the extra few quid

i'm in exactly the same boat. i'm going at the end of January and mine runs out in April Crying I will have to pay quite a lot and make an appointment at the passport office I think.
