have been to bulgaria many times skiing/snowboarding but would be grateful if you could recommend a hotel in sunny beach for next summer pref 4* plus.many thanks

With the rate they are going up now Steve, you will be spoilt for choice.I would recommend checking out any of these.
Alba
Mercury
Victoria Palace
Sunny Beach (new for 2005, and my choice)
All brilliant hotels, all close to the beach (Mercury furthest but still only 3 minute stroll.)

I was in the helena beach 5* on the beach in the top end of sunny beach.The hotel is out of this world,it was only built this year. There are not many kid's in this hotel but the sister hotel next door helena sands is a 4* and all the entertainment for the 2 hotel's are in this hotel so there are a lot of kid's in this one. I found that the center of sunny beach is where all the night life is, and is on the go until the small hours. the top end of sunny beach is only about 15 min's walk ...

If you stay in the helena area try out the piano bar on the beach within the helena complex great place for a drink to end the night sat around the piano it stay's open till 6 or 7 am. I hope this help's. Enjoy,Andy.
