phones for boots!!!!!!

While we were in boro 2weeks ,a guy in our ski group said you could swap an old contract picture phine for a new pair of boots,sounds like a good deal to ,aswift upgrade of a free phone and you could be laughing ,can anyone confirm this ,12 days to go and counting

Heard stories of guys swapping mobiles for snowboards(new), most probably true.
The commissions paid to dealers for connecting phones in BG is no where near what it is here, does not allow for phones to be offered so cheap. If you are considering it you will only be able to offer unlocked to all networks types. Pop one in your bag and take it out, what have you got to lose ???

Yes, my son was also offered a "deal" like this when we were there in jan/feb. but was going to keep it to ourselves, they offered him all sorts for a camera phone, only trouble was there was 5 of us, and the boot of the car on the way to the airport was like a jigsaw puzzle.......... we couldnt have fitted anything else in if we had tried, thought we would take an extra case next year.........full of our unwanted phones.......

Yeah they seem to like their mobile phone out there in Bulgaria. However I would be careful. Some people we got friendly with were offered some skis. I think they were the Vtec carvers I'd rather keep my phone.

I've just changed phones and have a spare Samsung X600 cameraphone. And I need some new boots!!!

Just got back from Boro having swapped my Nokia 6820 for a brand new Atomic snowboard - good deal for me! I arranged this through my snowboard instructor.

just mention your mobile phone when you go into the ski/board shop....... perhaps even get out your phone and pretend to use it .......goodluck x
