is there any way of making cheap calls back to the uk from bansko? orange are going to charge me £1.30 per min and £0.70 to recieve.

Buy a Phone Card in Bulgaria, which works out very cheap to call either land or mobile in England. Use one of the Telephone Exchanges, where again it is cheap and you pay at end of call. Or the internet.

I use a bulgarian phone card pay as you go and it saves me loads, not sure how much I pay but because its pay as you go I know how much I am spending with no huge surprise bills from Orange when I get home
