Just back today, personally (and the others in the our group) would say the spider at the mid station because - they are all the same price, its nicely located, money has been spent on it, the toilets are fantastic and you don't need to pay to use them.
in Pamps town, the BBQ at Mourgavets is good, but from our experience avoid T Bone and stick with the lamb or pork from the roast spit (cant remember what its called) On the bottom of the slopes cant recommend Alex's Bar highly enough. Food is hot, excellent, well priced. Staff are polite, friendly and honest. Big blue parasol above pancake station.
Best hot choc on muntain is at 'the Bulgarian Pub' which is about a quarter of way down. It's REALLY hot and you get a huge glassful for 6 lev. Toilets are free, but a bit grim. The Spider's hot choc is not as good - small cupful and warm, rather than hot, for 7 lev.
Best soup was at the place half way down the back blue - 4 lev and 3 lev for garlic bread.

The cheapest place to eat by far is a new one called 'Bulgarian Dreams'. It's next to the bottom lift - at the side of the little hut that sells daily ski passes. It's self service and a bit characterless, but the food is good and hot - and the toilets are nice!
The price for tea/coffe on the mountain ranged from 2 - 3 lev. Some places do try to charge you to use the toilet (The Lodge for example) but if you just shrug and say 'no money', they let you go anyway. Normally, I don't mind paying to go to the loo, but when you've just eaten in the place I think it's a bit out of order!
On the mountain The taven @ The Castle. A third of the prices on the mountain!!! I paid 5 levs for a small beer at mid station 3-4 levs for big beer there !happy days
