can anyone recommend good places to go to in the evenings at borovets?? Someone recommended kaminata restaurant to eat. anywhere else? and new years eve? anyone recommend anything???thanks

Pretty much anywhere in Borovets! I like The Blue ...100m up on the adjacent street opposite the RILA hotel...kinda laid back cafe bar serving both western steaks/pizzas and (mmmmm) traditional bulgarian. Otherwise The Salamander a couple of doors up or The Red Lion (no sky sports , darts or pool in spite of the name) on the main street down from the Rila square towards the gondola. Finally, The Happy Duck (turn right at the Samokov Hotel about 400 yds on right) they are extremely popular ...

28 of us going out to boro on 30th not good skiers wewas there 2 yrs ago any bar is good

Cheers Beeeeeee, me & Mrs Raph will be in The Blue New Year's eve ( flight punctuality permitting) towards the witching hour - if you want to go there I'd recommend booking in earlier in the day/previous day as it gets pretty busy!re: please recommend good places 2go borovets
In Borovets try Hrima-bar-restaurant!!!!!!!If you want something diffrent go to Samokov-town try "The Old House".
