plodiv airport flights this year

its good to see that Balkan tours belfast r now flying this season to plodiv,this means from ireland all flights r going to plodiv,with crystalski flying from Dublin

Its good for Boro and Pamps but the transfer for Bansko is long and the road is not good. Can take 4hrs and more if there is a lot of snow.

True Steve C, but unless they are booking a package deal Bansko visitors still have the option of flying into Sofia. Until now visitors to Pamporovo only option was a transfer journey as long as the actual flight time from UK to BG. Borovets gets the best of both worlds (or airports).

Yes Andie, We understand that. Just pointing out to people who are thinking for Bansko and looking at this as a possibility. Great news for Pamps and Boro. We have had a lot of enquiries for this but we will not do the transfer as it is not good timewise and the roads can be very scary in the winter especially if there is a lot of snow.

Hard to imagine roads worse than some of the ones from Sofia .
Good advice though Steve - I was looking at the Ryanair flights for Bansko and would have seriously consdiered them if the price was right before reading this....
