with all this snow around .
is the airport still open or is there a risk of detour?

erm...we flew into bourgas when we were supposed to be landing in plovdiv that took like 7 hours to get to pamporovo

last year warmer in plovdiv than newcastle when we went, but pamps was ok, but year before loads of snow in plovdiv but still landed ok
