plovdiv or sofia

just enquired about next years hols and on the date we want to go they only fly into plovdiv not sofia,could anybody tell me the transfer time from plovdiv to borovets(true time not brochure time)and what the journeys like ,,cheers

A lttle debate on this site recently about the transfer time, some saying over 3 hours some saying less. I travelled in January and it took me from Airport to resort 2hours 15mins. There was no snow though at lower levels so roads were not affected.
Roads were a little bumpy in places but ok really, just like roads in the Greek Islands i thought!

ian w is right it took us 2.15- 2.30, no snow at thet level, just big holes in the road.
plovdiv airport is a cracker, trust me you dont want to use the toilets, or if you do take you own bog roll, soap, and towels as there is none. but the skiing is ace, WE WILL BE BACK.
