got back from there on staurday 26th. snow was crap but to be expected this time of year. the hotel mourgavets (excuse spelling) was awful!!! food was terrible we had to eat in a lovely little shed down the hill. the staff were really unfriendly. to the point of being rude. the nightclub was nice if you werent made to feel as welcome as a disease. the casino is tiny. an to top it off, even though you will be happily sold this holiday as it is STILL in season, 95% of pomporovo will be shut. ...

By the way it is PAMPOROVO and I certainly would not be complaining if I was basically the only people in the resort. The entire mountain to yourself, money can not buy that, Stop complaining you misery

are you complaining about my complaining. cooool.and yeah having the whole mountain to myself with slush. ammmmaazing. and a ghost town at night. yeah thats what i saved up all year to do. but from the sounds of it sounds like the perfect place for ya

What a typical Brit. Food was bad, Bulgarians are unfriendly. Moan moan moan!

One of the VERY FEW moans on here all season - hardly typical Bulgarian Pete - so lets get things into perspective eh?

sorry if you feel I am moaning saved all year for my hol and was badly let down was assured great snow and great night life which it probably is in Jan & Feb but not end of March. Pamps is a lovely place but the travel reps should advise that the season finishes beginning of March and correctly rate hotels as my hotel was def. not a 4 star. But yeah probably am a typical Brit in the way I expect to get what I pay for !!!re: pomporovo

Hi bobbyy, sorry your holiday was not as good as you hoped and expected. But the season in Pamporovo (and other resorts) does not usually finish at the beginning of March - more like mid April if they have the snow cover.
A couple of seasons ago everyone was closing down in Pamporovo towards the end of March. The overnight they had a huge dump and many of the hotels/restuarants opened again and Pamporovo was full of happy skiers throughout April.
So if you want to blame anyone blame ...
