pounds ,levs or travellers chqs

Although this will be our 3 rd trip in 4 years I am not sure whether to take out £ levs of travellers chqs. The credit crunch is doing strange things to me brain lol

Better xchange rate out there. Take STG or cash point card (depending on charges). I reckon.

If you need some lev to get from airport, get some in UK. If not take sterling and cash card. Credit cards and travellers cheques not widely used.

I don't recommend taking more cash than you are prepared to carry on you. That's why I recommend a cash card. xx

We took Lev's with us (the rate wasn't very different here) and a cash card in case we ran out. Smile

Nationwide Flex account gives a good rate and no charges

When i was out there last week they were given us 2.4 levs in pamporovo town for the pound. We changed up though at the Airport while waiting for our luggage.
