Theres plenty, but everyones advice will be, book all you need before you go through your travel agent or whatever, because its a lot cheaper than to book in resort!
Ski/Board instruction is very good and they speak good English!
Enjoy

Hello there,

We just arrived back on Sunday from Borovets. You definately need to book your lift passes, ski school etc before you go.
It was our first time skiing / snowboarding and we found out the hard way.
Try speaking to your travel company to see if they offer any packages.
The lift passes were £100 for the week. Our daughter was in the nursey which was approx £20 a day.
We travelled with Balkan holidays. See the link below to compare the prices. http://www.balkanholidays.co ...

Beware, I got my own board BUT the rental equipment I saw people with there was the worst I have ever seen. Smashed up boards, boots coming to pieces, bindings that dont bind.

Unless they have improved this year might be as well to buy out there!

Yeah it's aboput time that the holiday companies considered the health and safety of their clients in relation the use of poor equipment.
I for one intend to lobby my tour operator on the issue!
Advise all others renters to do the same.
Some of the equipment is nothing but junk!

I must have been lucky as I was given a new board + bindings but not so great boots when I was out last week. Don't let some of the stories put you off that much, if your board sucks, change it.

re: prices in Borovets

Ask to book "superior or Better" equipment, if not happy return them to the rental and ask for a change. I did this for one of my kids and the obliged no problem.
