The biggest news for the Bulgarian Freeride scene in the upcoming winter season, "Mad Goat Ride" is scheduled to take place on 1st - 3rd March 2013 in the ski resort of Bansko in the Pirin Mountains.This Freeride competition, which has FWQ Class 2 * will be for men and women in ski and snowboard categories.

Hahhahahha sorry Johnny,Thread is great news and will be letting all my "tray head hitting fools" know about it.
Did they not have this last year initially then had to cancel it as the park wasn't up and running??

Last year they said one of the most important things was to get the park up and running and get all the equipment out which is sat up in Shilli(never used) to get it done asap. They have a half pipe cutting mc etc etc up there just sitting getting old. Bob The Builder would be disgusted!!
They didnt do anything did they it was all the boarders themselves digging and pre-papring jumps etc in their own time after lessons had finished. Hristo was helping with alot of it and his mates. ...

?? Freeride is about back country/all mountain, the exact opposite of park riding.The park issue was nothing to do with the cancellation of last years event, by all accounts is was down to simple logistics hence the reason why they are heading back.
It is a definite plus point for the town though!!

Sorry Johnny I thought you meant the freestyle on the park. I thought they had one here last year but was cancelled and it went to either Pamps or Osogovo!!Pamps do have it this year dont they?
