re: New to area-Skiing

Hi all.
We are all beginners, have never touched skis in our lives before and are planning a trip skiing in Jan 07 and are looking at these resorts. We have a 16 yr old who wants to snowboard and a 6 yr old who will ski with us so want good facilities - some accessible nightlife but not a hotel right on top of it all due to noise.

can anyone recommend which resort is best and the good quality (but reasonably priced) hotels

hi clair,
if you look at past postings and having gone out with both family and friends you won't go far wrong by picking Borovets. This resort will cover all your needs pick a date any time after say the 3rd week in jan for 99% snow.
