Flying to Sofia on sat, can someone tell me the transfer time to Bansko and are there many cash machines in Bansko ?

I did the transfer last week in 2.5 hours both ways. If the roads have snow problems it can take longer. Plenty of ATMs in Bansko. One at the gondola, one next to Strazhite hotel, one in town centre.

Do you know if the one in the gondola and hotel have any additional charges, other than those levied by your own bank? Last year I used the one by Hotel Pirin, which is run by a major Bulgarian bank and there were no additional charges.

I don't think so. They are both First Investment Bank ones. The bank itself is also next to the hotel and I changed some notes there. No charges and a good rate.
