Hi, just seen threads re hotel changes with Balkan. We've also been changed from Strazhite where we've also stayed for last 2 years, but were told we were going in Pirin. Didn't fancy there due to location and food reports, so asked to be moved to perun or lion instead. However Balkan are asking for £50 each adult to move there
Anyone else had this situation or were you automatically offered the Perun

The food in the hotels will be about the same in each hotel so don't let that be your deciding factor. I know there is a bus from each hotel so walking isn't a problem.I spoke to somebody last week who was staying in the Lion and they were very impressed apart from the food. Now we all know how cheap it is to eat out in Bansko so don't worry. Pirin is closer to the nightclubs than the other 2 hotels.

ew arent with balkan but we were automatically moved (well given a choice of a few hotels) we are going to be given a bottle of wine for our troubles and some other thing, free rep night or something - dont pay, its their fault not urs!re: hotel perun-hotel strazhite
Hi yep we have had same problem and also with going places. We were offered Pirin but for distance reasons didnt want to be there (2 kids etc) so they changed us to Perun as slightly nearer gondala and nearer hotel where friends are staying. Had a bit of a battle and rooms in these hotels going really fast with people being moved around. They agreed in the end though so stand your ground. Have you also had flights changed to arrive in BAnsko about 4 in the morning?re: hotel perun-hotel strazhite
I am with Balkan and this tripis turning into a bit of a trial. Flying from Aberdeen to Gatwick first off....... then Balkan change LGW departures and return 
........ then I see all the Strazhite movement. I sent an E-mail to my travel agent asking about the situation first thing on Monday. Would you believe he responded saying he had just received a note from Balkan about a move for the 4 of us. I believe that we are now in the Perun but I am not sure. Looking forward to getting ...
